After 8 years in healthcare and 2 years in healthTech, in my last role I had the opportunity to contribute to product development of a web app for internal use.
This sparked my curiosity and since then I decided to pursue software engineering!
Recently completed General Assembly's Software Engineering bootcamp, I have learned the fundamentals of Full Stack software development (JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Express.js, Python, Django).

It uses JavaScript (Next.js) for the frontend and Express.js with a MongoDB database for the backend.
Selected Backend contributions: User Router and Controllers, as well as contributions to the dailyWorkouts Controller.
Selected Frontend contributions: full responsibility over landing page and authentication, as well as Home page styling and functionality.

Inspired by my background in healthcare, this is a web app focusing on healthcare professionals and their appointment management needs.

rock climbing
I tried climbing for the first time around 7 years ago and I have not stopped since. You can find me mostly at my local rock climbing gym, but occasionally I'll go up with friends to the Peak District and hop on some real rock!

I have been playing the bass since I was a teenager and love trying out new instruments and having a jam.

it all started with a Sega Saturn for Christmas - that stopped working in 2018 unfortunately (rip). Nowadays I tend to play retro games - mostly GameBoy and GameBoy Advance but also farming simulators like Stardew Valley and some Minecraft every once in a while.
